customary tenant of this manor before this court and after the last court namely on

surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of
Jn Kettle
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Jn Read
and
Thos Prior
two customary tenants of this same manor according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all those his customary lands called
Debnams
with their appurtenances containing by estimation 30a more or less now in the tenure or occupation of
Wm Brewer
of Great Tey yeoman to the use and behoof of
Jas Nicholl
his heirs and assigns for ever upon this condition however that if the aforesaid
Sam Brewer
his heirs or assigns should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid
Jas Nicholl
his heirs or assigns the sum of 120li of legal money of England at or in the now dwelling house of
Jn Nicholl
situated in Colne Engaine in or upon
