| new rent 12d | at this court the lord being personally present in court by his special grace by his steward granted out of his hands to a certain Thos Miller a certain parcel of waste field of the aforesaid manor parcel of Playstowkell in Halstead with a cottage built thereon with appurtenances to have and to hold the said parcel of waste field and the cottage with appurtenances to him the aforesaid Thos Miller and his heirs at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by fealty suit of court and the annual rent of 12d at the feast of michaelmas and the annunciation to be paid in equal portions and he gave to the lord his fine for such his entry as if shown in the margin and made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord |
