it is also shown by the homage that Jn Hunwick customary tenant of this manor out of court namely 28.7.last surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Nath Kinge and Thos Smyth two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all that parcel of meadow with appurtenances lying and being in White Colne or elsewhere as it is believed by the said homage within the parish of Earls Colne commonly called Bridge Meadow to the use and behoof of Geo Hunwick of Halstead weaver son of the aforesaid Jn and his assigns forever to whom the same said Geo present here in court the lord by his aforesaid steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have to him the aforesaid Geo and his assigns forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he made therefore fine and fealty to the lord and was admitted etc
