and furthermore it was shown by the homage that the aforesaid Barth Church who held for himself and his heirs freely from the lord of this manor as of the aforesaid manor by fealty suit of court and the rent of 6d per annum one parcel of land containing by estimation 2r lying next to Pitchers alias Nicker Field in Earls Colne in the customary field called Ten Acres after the last court and before this court died thereof seised of such his estate and the aforesaid Rose Church brought here into court testimonial letters of the said Barth by which the aforesaid Barth Church willed and bequeathed the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Rose Church for her lifetime the remainder thereof after her decease to Mary Church sister of the said Barth and her heirs forever and the aforesaid Rose Church made fealty to the lord and gave to the lord for a relief 6d
