and furthermore it is shown by the homage that Jn Creake customary tenant of this manor after the last court and before this court viz 28.3.1631 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Parker bailiff of the said manor in the presence of Robt Crowe and Jn Brownson two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all that cottage or tenement lately built upon a parcel of the lord's waste next to Chalkney Wood with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the said Jn Creak and Mary his wife for their lifetimes and to the longer liver and after their decease to the use and behoof of Rich Harlakenden esq lord of the aforesaid manor and his heirs forever
