and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Hawksby clerk who was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one parcel of customary land parcel of Mill Field containing by estimation 4a1r26p lying between another parcel of land parcel of the aforesaid Millfield on the eastern part and a parcel of meadow called Holmes towards the west one head thereof abutting upon Barthall Meade and the aforesaid meadow called Holmes towards the south and another head thereof abutting upon another parcel of Millfield towards the north and also to another parcel of Millfield containing by estimation 1a3r lying between the aforesaid parcel of land parcel of Millfield towards the north west and also to another parcel of land parcel of Millfield and containing there in length 32rod and three quarters one head thereof abutting upon a meadow called Barthall Meade towards the south west and the other head thereof abutting upon the rest of the parcel of the aforesaid land called Millfield as by a court roll bearing the date 24.4.1622 it appears he died three years ago thus seised thereof and that Rich Hawksby is his son and heir and of the full age of twenty one years and more who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Rich Hawksby his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services etc and he gave to the lord for a fine etc and afterwards in this same court and with the court sitting came the aforesaid Rich Hawksby and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Sarah Hawksby his sister the heirs and assigns of the said Sarah forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcels of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Sarah Hawksby her heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord for a fine etc
