and furthermore it is shown by the homage that

on the day of this court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of
Jn Meadows
in the presence of
Edw Cresner
and
Hen Hutton
two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying one cottage with orchard and
in the tenure of the said
Xoph
or his assigns to the use and behoof of
Susan Hayward
daughter of
Simon Heyward
of Colne Engaine and her assigns upon the condition that if the aforesaid
Xoph Buers
his heirs or assigns should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid
Susan
or her assigns at the dwelling house of the said
Simon Hayward
in the aforesaid Colne Engaine 10s of legal money of England in or upon
23.10.1647
and 10s on
24.10.1648
and 20li10s# in or upon
25.10.1649
that then the aforesaid surrender should be void
