| a seizure | at this court it was presented by the homage that Geo Collin of Halsted weaver by the name of Geo Collin son and heir of Wm Collin and Isabel his wife did since the last court that is to say upon 2.6.1653 surrender into the hands of the lord by the hands of Wm Tomson instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Rich Fisher and Dan Lea two customary tenants of the said manor a tenement with a yard and garden thereunto belonging then in the tenure of Barker and a close of land adjoining called Cole Grove situate in Halsted to the use of Kellam Collin citizen and saddler of London and his heirs but because the said Kellam came not after proclamation thrice made according to custom to take the said premises out of the hands of the lord etc a precept was made to seize the same until etc |
