lying in White Colne with the underwoods and brush in the same grove growing and to the houses thereupon built part of which said grove is converted into arable and pasture land now at this court it is presented by the homage that since the said court the said

died and the said

did survive her and that the said

since the last court died of the said premises sole seised and that
Sam Potter
is his son of his body upon the body of the said
Helen
begotten and right heir to the said

who being present in court prayed to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said premises to the said
Sam
and to the heirs of his body by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due and he gave to the lord for a fine |
