dame Hester Honywood to the aforesaid crofts for her lifetime | and afterwards in the same said court and in open court came the aforesaid Phineas Reeve and by virtue of a certain warrant on his part made to him by the said Thos Honywood the son as stated the aforesaid Phineas as attorney of the said Thos by the rod surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid three crofts of land and way with appurtenances to the use and behoof of dame Hester Honywood widow late wife of the said Thos Honywood knight and mother of the said Thos Honywood the son for the lifetime of the said dame Hester according to the tenor and effect of the testament and last will of the said Thos Honywood knight to whom the same said dame Hester by the hands of Hen Hutton her attorney and deputy in this part the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid three crofts of land and appurtenances to the aforesaid dame Hester for her lifetime from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord for a fine |
