Thos Honywood esq to three crofts in Markeshall | whereas at a court here held 27.12.15Chas1 Thos Honywood knight took for himself and his heirs three crofts of customary land then lately two crofts and a certain way pertaining to the aforesaid croft lying in Markshall now at this court it was shown by the homage that after the last court the aforesaid Thos Honywood knight died thus seised thereof and that Thos Honywood esq is his son and heir to whom the same said Thos Honywood the son by the hands of Phineas Reeve his attorney and deputy in this part and seeking the same the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid croft of land with a way with appurtenances to the aforesaid Thos Honywood the son his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine but fealty was respited |
