dame Hester Honywood to the same said parcel of meadow for her lifetime | and afterwards into the same said court and in open court came the aforesaid Phineas Reeve and by virtue of a certain warrant made to him in this part by the said Thos Honywood as stated the aforesaid Phineas by the rod surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid piece or parcel of meadow with appurtenances to the use and behoof of dame Hester Honywood widow wife of the said late Thos Honywood knight for the lifetime of the said dame Hester according to the tenor and effect of the testament and last will of the said Thos Honywood knight to whom the same said dame Hester Honywood by the hands of Hen Hutton her attorney and deputy in this part and seeking this the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid piece or parcel of meadow with appurtenances to the aforesaid dame Hester for her lifetime from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord for a fine but fealty was respited |
