and afterwards into the same said court and in open court came the aforesaid Wm Jennison and in person by the rod surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid tenement garden and rentery called Ruffles and the aforesaid piece of land late parcel of Barnhaws with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Robt Finch junior of Earls Colne and Mary his wife and the heirs and assigns of the said Robt forever to whom the same said Robt and Mary present in court and seeking this the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid tenement and other premises with appurtenances to the aforesaid Robt and Mary and the heirs and assigns of the said Robt forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine etc
