| enrolment of Thos Plumb | whereas at a court held 3.6.1656 Jn Coe was admitted for himself and his heirs to one part of parcel of a certain field called Milfeild containing by estimation 1a2r with a tenement lately built upon the same now or lately divided from the aforesaid field situated in Sible Hedingham on the 9.5.last he surrendered the premises into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Bagshaw instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Robt Carter and Rich Fisher two customary tenants etc to the use and behoof of Thos Plumb senior his heirs and assigns forever who the same said Thos Plumb present here in court humbly sought from the lord admittance to the premises as tenant to whom the lord by the steward gave and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid premises with appurtenances to the aforesaid Thos Plumb his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc |
