and after the admission the said Wm Cox and Mary his wife and the said Jn Sandford and Susanna his wife and Mary and Susanna severally and secretly examined by the steward and agreeing surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the steward the said messuage and lands with appurtenances and all the customary lands tenements and hereditaments held of this manor to the use of the said Jn Sandford his heirs and assigns forever upon which the said Jn Sandford present in court humbly petitioned admittance etc and the lord by the steward granted and delivered seisin to have and to hold the said messuage and lands aforesaid all and singular the premises aforesaid to the said Jn Sandford his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave to the lord for a fine etc
