whereas at a court here held 3.1.1668 Robt Newton was admitted to himself and his heirs to one cottage and curtilage with appurtenances late Wm Spriggs now in the occupation of Abraham Christmas and Jn King now at this court it appeared to the homage that Robt Newton died after the last court and that Jn Newton is his brother and next heir and the said Jn present in court humbly petitioned admittance of the lord etc and the steward delivered seisin by the rod etc to have and to hold the said cottage etc to Jn Newton his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and his gave for fine etc
