(top of the roll damaged) whereas at a court here held 28.12.==== Hen Hutton was admitted to him and his heirs to the reversion after the death of Alice Hutton of one cottage and garden called Boxteds with appurtenances in Earls Colne now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Alice died before this court and that the said Hen Hutton 9.5.1682 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Keable instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Hutton and Edw Wade his customary lands held of this manor to the use of Jn Hatch senior of Earls Colne his heirs and assigns forever who present in court asked to be admitted to whom the steward delivered seisin thereof to hold the said cottage etc to the said Jn Hatch his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave for fine etc
