whereas at a court here held 20.10.1659 Wm May gentleman was admitted to him and his heirs to three parcels of land called The Harrow in Great Maplestead etc one head abuts on a way from Hopwell to Alderford Mill and the other head abuts on lands late of Math Elliston now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Wm May died before this court and that Wm May is his son and heir who present in court humbly petitioned admittance to whom the steward delivered seisin thereof etc to have and to hold the said three crofts of land and pasture with appurtenances to the said Wm May the son and his heirs of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
