at a court held 1.1.1659 Nich Caplin was admitted to two crofts of land called Millfield containing 3a in White Colne and at the last court it appeared that the said Nich had lately died and that Jn Caplin was his son and heir and none came to take the premises therefore proclamation etc now at this court came Jn Caplin by Sam Burton his attorney and was admitted etc and gave fine etc
