at a court held 20.4.1702 Susanna Sarjant was admitted to all those parcels of customary land called Priestland and Dagnall Hill lying together and containing 24a in Earls Colne now at this court it appeared that she on 3.11.last surrendered the said by the hands of Wm Chapman instead of the bailiff in the presence of Sam Burton and Sam Christmas the said premises with appurtenances and all her right and interest in the same to the use of Hen Adams junior of Little Clacton in the county of Essex yeoman his heirs and assigns forever who present was admitted and gave fine and fealty was respited
