whereas at a court here held 13.3.1695 Dan Payne was admitted to one cottage or tenement with appurtenances in Earls Colne called Sadlers with a yard adjoining containing 15p also to 16p of land parcel of Sadlers now at this court it appeared that the said Dan 24.9.1703 surrendered by the hands of Rich Caplin instead of the bailiff in the presence of Geo Toller and Isaac Potter the premises to the use of Jn Aldgate who present was admitted and gave fine and fealty respited
