whereas at a court here held 22.3.1699 Sam Christmas was admitted to one parcel of land called Thredgolds and also to another parcel of land called Blowbarnes also to another parcel of land called Ballards and also to another parcel of land called Irons and other lands and tenements then in the occupation of Jn White now at this court came the said Sam Christmas and surrendered the said premises to the use of Edw Johnson of Earls Colne yeoman who present was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty respited
