at a court here held 17.11.1708 Edw Abbutt was admitted to one tenement and garden called Mathewes Acre and one piece of land with a well in the same late parcel of a tenement of Thos Elmstead one croft of land called Olmstead Croft with a barn thereon built held by the annual rent of 2s9d and also to one tenement with appurtenances called Flamans held by the annual rent of 8d and also to a certain parcel of land lying behind the tenement aforesaid called Malthouse with a garden called Grapnells held by the annual rent of 2s and all services now at this court it appeared that the said Edw died after the last court so seised and that Edw Abbutt is his only son and heir upon which came the said Edw Abbutt and was admitted etc and gave fine
