at this court came Edw Abbutt gentleman and surrendered one messuage or tenement customary with garden adjoining and two crofts of land containing 2a lying in Church Street in Earls Colne with appurtenances to the use of Jn White of Earls Colne blacksmith and his heirs who present in court was admitted etc but no fine given etc for this admittance is to the intent that a common recovery can be made of the premises in manner and form following etc
