at the last general court it appeared that Joseph Abbutt gentleman on 24.12.1724 surrendered by the hands of Sam Carter gentleman instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Pratt and Jn Brewster all that messuage or tenement with appurtenances in Earls Colne called The Blueboar then in the tenure of Eliz Cook or her assigns to the use of Robt Tweed junior of Halstead gentleman and because none came first proclamation was made now at this court came the said Robt and was admitted etc and gave fine etc and after the said Robt Tweed surrendered the said messuage or tenement called The Blueboar to the use of his last will
