whereas at a court held 18.4.1727 it appeared that on 15.12.1726 Thos Hales senior surrendered by the hands of Wm Carter instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Pratt and Jn Brewster all his messuage lands and tenements held by copy to the use of his last will now at this court it appeared that about the last court he died upon which came Thos Hales his son and asked to be admitted to the lands his father died seised of viz to a certain croft called Bomefields containing 16a who was admitted etc on the conditions mentioned in his father's will and gave fine etc
