also it is found that on 4.2.last Edw Frith out of court surrendered by the hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward all that his customary messuage or tenement called Dedmans and 50a of land situate and being in Earls Colne in tenure of Joseph Cooke or his assigns to the use of Thos Sewell of Earls Colne gentleman upon condition that if the said Edw Frith his heirs etc shall well and truly pay to the said Thos Sewell his executors etc at or in the now dwelling house of the said Thos in Earls Colne the sum of 230li10s in manner following viz 5li on 5.8.next and the sum of 225li10s residue thereof on 5.2.1736 without any deductions then surrender void
