whereas at a court held 11.3.1734 Robt Hum was admitted to all that copyhold messuage or tenement with the appurtenances called Prills and at the same court surrendered the premises to the use of his will now presented that the said Robt Hum died since the last court but who is heir they know not whereupon came Eliz Hum widow of Robt by Thos Hum her son her attorney and brought here in court the last will and testament of the said Robt Hum bearing date 15.10.1740 the tenor concerning the premises in these words item I give devise and bequeath unto Eliz my loving wife all that my copyhold messuage or tenement called Prills with the yards gardens and appurtenances thereunto belonging lying in Earls Colne during the term of her natural life with divers remainders over as in and by the said will appears who was admitted etc for life and gave fine etc
