it is shown by the homage that Agnes Sparrowe widow late wife of Jn Sparrowe deceased who jointly held together with the aforesaid Jn now dead for themselves and their assigns during the whole term of their lifetime and to the longer liver from the lord as of the same said manor by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor three crofts of land containing by estimation 10a of land late parcel of a certain field called Bomefeld lying in the southern part of a certain field called Bomefeld sometime of Jn Bredge as by the metes and bounds and the remainder thereof after their decease and of the longer liver to Antho Sparrowe son of the said Jn and Agnes and his heirs as in a view with court here held saturday namely 31.7.1540 it was clearly shown she died after the last court seised thereof of such estate and upon this to this court came the aforesaid Antho Sparrowe and sought admittance to the said three crofts of land with appurtenances by right of the said remainder and thus it was shown by the homage therefore he is admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered seisin thereof to hold for himself his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin
