to this court came Jn Johnson and surrendered into the hands of the lord one tenement with garden adjoining called The Myddelhowse lying in Holl St viz between the tenement of the said Jn Johnson on the eastern part and on the west one head thereof abutting upon the kings highway leading from Holl St towards the north and the other head thereof abutting upon a croft of land of Jn Crestner gentleman called Lowfeld towards the south as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Jn Wellys and Agnes his wife and the heirs of Jn himself who present in court came and sought admittance thereof and he was admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered seisin thereof to hold to himself his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and by the annual rents thereof to the lord and to the heirs of the lord of this manor of 18d sterling and suit of court and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin
