lately living and recently dead and the heirs of

himself from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc one croft of land lying beneath the park of the earl of Oxford parcel of a tenement sometime
Parker's
one head thereof abutting upon the lands of the lord of this manor called
Carters Croft
and the other head thereof abutting upon a lane leading from the king's highway as far as
Smythfeld
as by the metes and bounds etc died after the last court seised of such estate and they further say that
Jn Thorne
is of full age and is the son of the said
Robt Thorne
deceased and the next heir thereof and should have the right to the said croft of land with appurtenances who present in court came and sought admittance thereof and thus it was shown by the homage therefore he was admitted thereof tenant to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin to hold for himself his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin
