27. ...Jeremy sent my little son a Hat: Mr Harlakenden came from London, he received 56li. for me of Mr Harrington , I made it up threescore and twelve pounds towards the payment of the hundred pounds I borrowed of him.

He and Sir Tho: Honywood jointly obtained an order to receive the bishops rents out of the impropriation of Feering 10li. or 12: out of Wittam 12li., out of Wethersfeild 15li. out of great Dunmowe 36li. and to divide it between the two towns of Earles Colne, and Markshall, for my part, I conceive and trust in god that this may be some addition to our means, the will of the Lord be done.
