29: a dry day: my wife and Jane came home from my Lady Honywoods and Jane where we had stayed: 11: weeks. the lord requite all her labour of love to us, coming home Mrs Mary Church visited us, and was kind to us, but no other person in the town showed any respect of kindness to us, yet I praise god I desire in all wants and forsakings of my people to submit to thee I have deserved the same I pray direct me in my great thoughts about leaving of Colne, that if I must be gone I may do it, so that I may have peace in it.
