M. 31. This week god was good to me and mine in our health, peace, plenty, preservation, I was sometime this week especially on Saturday at night, grievously tormented with the toothache, so that I rested not one wink, until late in the morning, I rode to Pedmarsh and preached for Col Mr Burroughs dined with Col. Cooke . I returned home, and preached in my own place in the afternoon, god was good to me in giving me strength for the work in abating my pain, in hearing prayer in the sweetness of the season it being warm, and dry.
