July. 5: Laid in, 3 load of hay out of Hall meadow , excellent hay, and in good case it was well washed but being well cocked it saved itself, I was troubled with my hogs breaking away on the lords day morning, and having looked for him and not finding him. I observed still a vexation and trouble in all these things and thinking gods providence might bring him back to me, I was just then told that he was driven home from off the green.
