35. Year of my age. 1651.

Jan: 25. Sensible it entered me into my 35 year, lord be with me in the same, my heart looked up to god in some more special measure than at other times for his presence and blessed(ness) and I trust in him for the same. Mrs King returned to us from her daughters burial Mrs Elizabeth . Heard of Major Heynes health, the Scots intend a great army, and great matters, god will cull his own out of them that shall be a seed for after days and work and many of the rest shall be dung upon the face of the Earth, even so, when difficulties are on us, hold me up oh thou my god.
