This week god renewed his love and goodness to me, and all mine in our peace and health, which was the more to me in regard the smallpox still did spread and continue in the town, my dear only daughter was suddenly ill, and through mercy revived again, the lord made me sensible of my weakness, corruption, and neglect in my employment, lord do not enter into judgement with me, but deal graciously with me, and mine for mercy sake, god was good to me in the work of his own day, but my neglect was great in preparation thereto, Lord pardon me, and accept me in the christ.
