March: 14: This week past the lord in all outward mercies renewed his goodness towards me and mine, only my little John very ill with a hoarseness, my god will command mercies for him, my dead heart has need of stirring, and quickening, oh that my poor soul might attain to it, I am sensible of my wandering heart, and of the foolishness of my thoughts in divine worship, lord when shall my heart attain unto establishment, the lord was good to me in the work of the day, the Lord my god accept me for he alone is worthy to be praised and exalted.
