July. 25. The lord was good to me in outward mercies blessed be god for our healths in these very sickly times, the lord be praised. I trust he will preserve my dear son and restore him to his health I wait on him for that sweet mercy: the lord was good to me in spiritual refreshing, and affecting my heart in his word, but at his table, I have but little incomes from god, yet though I catch nothing, at his command I will let down my net. my brother Bat. Clarke was with us, who was away before on dissatisfaction of spirit, the lord help us to walk with him, and answer me for good I most humbly entreat thee,
