Feb: 13. the lord continues good to me and mine in our outward mercies, my little Jane reviving from under her ague. the season dry and warm, little or no snow and less rain all this winter not one ground rain. I am glad the lord makes me to take notice of what he does in my house and abroad, raise up my heart to more holiness and spiritualness(.) the lord sending me help, I preached this day at Gaines Colne, the lord I trust will afford me a good neighbour in that place.
