April. 3. The Lord was good to me and mine in our outward mercies my John weaning(,) oh that I and mine were weaned from sin, and our meat were the will and the work of god, the lord was good in the Sabbath, and at his table my heart much affected with his love, rejoiced to see a stumbling brother there. oh that my heart could melt before the lord, so that I could fear him and his great goodness, this day the wind was very high, the day clear.
