7. Aug: very inconstant harvest weather, the week past, more showers, in other place than we had, good is the lord in all his ways and most worthy to be praised. we shall observe the effects of this victory by the estate, and whether they attempt anything at land against Holland, the lord good to me in my inward frame, I find the devil ready to disturb me, lord do thou undertake for me, dreamed of great church troubles, among the rest I thought Iserson an anabaptist threw a stone at me, lord I submit to your pleasure in all things.
