4. On Saturday Mrs Mabel was buried at the upper end of the North side of our chancel, her father bestowed a beautiful funeral on her, many of her friends carried her to the ground Mr R.H. and I laid her unto grave at the head and 2 uncles at the feet, the sermon continued till sun down, a great number of friends, her disease judged malignant(,) I trust god will preserve us from its danger(,) I preached from Phil. 1.23. and left my grief and trouble much in the pulpit(,) my heart lightened and refreshed by the word
