10: Good Mrs Harlakenden buried, dying at Olivers in Stanaway. Mr Eldred his wife and children would not let her come to Coln. I told them she could not live a winter there. I preached her funeral, I had a scarf, gloves, hat band. no mourning nor legacy. no one of them gave me thanks for my sermon. neither Mrs Eldred nor her daughters would vouchsafe to speak to me. lord you are my glorious portion. and you look after me and I will praise thee and live to thy glory.
