Jan. 26. I awakened toward morning and was sensible this day ended my 62. and began my 63. year glad a Sabbath, I had a comfortable review of gods mercies and goodness to me from my cradle and a foresight god would be with me for good. that I should see the good of his chosen ones with a hope as Jacob(,) to see John a Joseph(,) a comfort to me. I in thankfulness devote myself to the lord and to his service, and in all my relations to seek his glory with praise
