Jn Allen
was admitted for the term of his natural life to one cottage upon the lords waste lately built containing in breadth to one end 10virgates and to the other end 4virgates and in length 45virgates one head thereof abutting to the south west the other to the north west and lying between the lands late of
Wm Finche
on one part towards the east and the kings highway leading from the said Colne towards Colne Park on the other part towards the west as by copy of a roll of a certain court here in court brought and shown fully binding and certain now to this court came the aforesaid

and surrendered by the said steward all rights titles and interests of an in the cottage and other premises above mentioned to the use and behoof of the lord of the said manor upon which at this same court the lord of the said manor by his special grace by the said steward resurrendered the said cottage and other premises as above stated to the aforesaid

his heirs and assigns forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the annual rent of 12d to be paid at the usual times and other services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and the fine was remitted and he made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
