| to Sam Game in mortgage parcel of Bowerfield | to this court came Sam Game in person and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his steward one parcel of land parcel of Bowerfield containing by estimation about 8a late of Hugh Johnson to the use and behoof of Thos Harlakenden gentleman and his heirs upon condition however that if the aforesaid Sam Game his heirs executors administrators or assigns should pay or cause to be paid to Rich Harlakenden esq lord of the said manor his executors administrators or assigns the sum of 10li at or in the now dwelling house of the aforesaid Rich Harlakenden called Colne Priory situated in the said Colne in or upon the feast of annunciation next following that then this present surrender should be void and have no force in law otherwise it should stand in its full force and effect |
