whereas Edw Browne late surrendered one cottage with a certain place called a forge and one garden adjoining the same called Charles Payne to the use of Jn Betts and his heirs upon condition of payment of 14li to the same Jn in or upon 4.6.next following as by a roll of a court here held 14.10.1624 clearly shows now it is shown by the homage of this court that the aforesaid Edw Browne paid the said sum of 14li according to the tenor of the said conditions and that by reason thereof the said surrender is made void etc
