whereas at a court baron here held wednesday being 10.1.41Eliz1 Rose Church wife of Jn Church was admitted tenant of the lord by the surrender of Geo Mowlde and Mary his wife for the term of her natural life to one parcel of customary land containing by estimation 18p parcel of one croft of land called Warkmans one head thereof abutting upon a garden called Sibbreds on the south part as by metes and bounds etc the remainder thereof after her decease to Jn Church the son of the said Jn Church and Rose his wife his heirs and assigns forever as by a court roll here in court lawfully and fully produced and shown now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Rose Church after the last court and before this court died thereof seised of such her estate and that the aforesaid Jn Church should have the right to have the premises according to the above mentioned surrender who the same said Jn Church present here in court sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by the said steward granted seisin thereof to have for himself and his heirs from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as etc in the margin and made fealty to the lord and was admitted thereof tenant
