and furthermore at a court here held 3.4.1616 Susan Cooke then wife of Jn Cooke was admitted tenant for her life the remainder to Jeremiah Cooke Ann Cooke Susan Cooke and Mary Cooke children of the said Jn and Susan and their heirs forever to one cottage with a certain parcel formerly part of the waste of this manor upon Colne Green now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Susan Cooke wife of the said Jn the said Susan Cooke and Mary after the said court and before this court died whereupon comes into court the said Jeremiah Cooke and Ann Cooke and humbly seek admittance to the premises with appurtenances by right of increase to whom the lord by his said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said cottage and other premises with appurtenances to the said Jeremiah and Ann and their heirs for ever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord their fine etc
